Cohiba Lanceros

Overview: Cohiba Lanceros

The Cohiba Lanceros is where it all began for the brand, one of the 3 founding cigars for the Cohiba brand, the Lanceros was originally created exclusively for Castro. This groundbreaking cigar was only acquirable as a gift from the Cuban government, prior to 1982 when it became available to the international market.

The Lanceros is the cigar for which the famous Cohiba tobacco blend, consisting of Volado, Seco, Ligero leaves and the revered Medio Tiempo leaf, was created. Filled with the signature tobacco blend exclusive to Cohiba, all of their vitolas are Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Larga – long filler, hand made, in the famous El Laguito factory.

This pigtailed Panetela delivers a thick and creamy smoke that is herbaceous with dashes of floral that progresses into a deliciously smooth, medium strength. We found flavours of warm baking spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, later progressing into notes of rustic honey combined with creamy almond and finishes with a sweetness lingering on the lips.

This Lanceros is a dreamy cigar that would delight novice and aficionado smokers alike, But be aware that this cigar that must be enjoyed slowly to allow the intricacies unfold. Pour a snifter of your favorite cognac and expect up to 2 hours of enjoyment.
