The Romeo y Julieta Petit Royales is a recently introduced half-Churchill or Petit Robusto vitola, measuring 102 mm in length with a 47 ring gauge. These cigars were released in 2012.
These cigars are flawlessly handcrafted and filled with the finest long filler tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba. They boast a colorado wrapper that is silky smooth to the touch and offer aromas of sweet floral and freshly baked bread off the wrapper.
The Petit Royales offers an easy draw that produces a cool smoke with medium full flavoured smoke you get from larger sized cigars, in a compact size for an excellent but brief smoking experience.
The flavours we detected first were a harmonious blend of cedar mixed with florals, early in the second third we found a burst of walnut and cocoa flavours joined the bouquet. In the final third we found a dash of fruit and a warm nuttyness to close out this smoke.
