The renowned Cohiba Siglo series were released in 1992 to commemorate the 500 year anniversary of Columbus’ arrival to the new world, becoming available internationally in 1994. Siglo Series are known officially as the Linea 1492 range.
The Siglo V is what cigar dreams are made of, the longest of the siglo series at 170mm and a 43 ring gauge, you have ample time to enjoy all this fine specimen has to offer.

Filled with the luxurious signature tobacco blend exclusive to Cohiba, Siglo V is Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Larga – long filler, hand made, in the famous El Laguito factory.
Aromas of light hay and sweet raisin were the first to come alive. Once lit we were thrilled with the large plumes of rich creamy smoke that offered a complex bouquet of flavours. Notes of star anise and macadamia nuts were dominant at first, but quickly moved onto hints of cedar, wheat and finally developed a deep richness that is reminiscent of a decadent red meat. The flavour and body offer a generous medium strength.

wow!! is the only word i can use to desvribe this cigar. its a little thin for me to smoke on a regular basis, but it fine to celebrate the closing of a huge buisness deal with. all parties concerned were blown away!

I made this my birthday dinner cigar. I smoke it annually. And have multiple boxes from almost maduro to claro. This is a fantastic cigar lasting up to an hour and half. The Dalia format has to be my favorite.

Simply outstanding cigar, great flavor, awesome construction and even burn. Starts out with that distinctly Cohiba grassy flavor with a spicy undertone, settling into a creamy coffee that I guarantee will have you nubbing this smoke. The price is a bit high but for those that are lucky enough to smoke these often or those who will smoke them on those special occasions this will become a favorite.
