Overview: Vegueros Mananitas
The Vegueros Mananitas is a Petit Belicoso, measuring 102 mm in length with a 46 ring gauge. They were released in 2015 and are offered in quantities of 16 inside of a modern metal tin, or as 4 boxes of 4 cigars.
They are beautifully hand rolled and filled with the finest Cuban long filler tobaccos, then finished with the new modern Vegueros branded band that features a bold green, black and silver design.
The Mananitas begins with a sweet tobacco aroma off the Colorado wrapper, and the cold draw offers a cream flavour mixed with notes of baking spice.
In the first third tobacco and white pepper were at the top, and the smoke was medium bodied and deliciously creamy. In the second third flavours increase from a mild to medium strength and new flavours of cedar, cherry and baking spices come into the mix with an undertone of sweetness.
These cigars are great for an afternoon smoke on a casual Sunday afternoon, due to the easy smoking profile and a smoking time of around 45 minutes. They pair excellently with a single malt whisky.
