Overview: Trinidad Coloniales
The Trinidad Coloniales is a Colonial or Petit Corona format, measuring 132mm in length with a 44 ring gauge. They are available in semi boite nature boxes of 25 cigars.
The Coloniales is beautifully constructed, hand rolled and filled with the aromatic long filler tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba, then finished with a beautiful pigtailed cap.
The aromas off the foot are distinctly sweet with a touch of cedar. Once lit the draw is sharp from the jump, offering thick creamy smoke filled with rich flavours of leather, vanilla and cedar.
In the second third new flavours of cashew, chocolate and coffee develop, rounding out the profile and picking up to a medium strength. In the final section a dash of spice appears and the finish is long and slightly floral.
This cigar is an excellent choice for intermediate to experienced smokers due to the unique blend of flavours and complexity. You can expect to enjoy these smokes for just under 60 minutes.
We recommend pairing this cigar with a full flavoured drink such as espresso in the afternoon or a barrel aged scotch for the evening.

A true cigar for the conniseur. Not a cigar for the beginner as he/she might not be able to pick out the subtleties of caramel and cocoa that linger on the back of the tongue. Its presentation is a varnished clasp box is SECOND TO NONE! A tru meaning of what a cigar should be.

This is the first order I have placed with Cuban Lou’s and let me just say I am extremely happy. My order of these beautiful Coloniales came in 4 days after I received my “shipped” notification. They arrived in perfect condition and when I opened the box I was overwhelmed with a wonderful coco smell! The construction of these smokes is perfect, I only had 1 cigar out of 24 that had a nick in the foot. I am going to let them rest in my humi for a week or 2 but I hope I can resist the temptation.

Every one of these that I have smoked have been out of this world with great solid construction. They have a Very creamy taste and a cedar and nutmeg taste comes through. I think the only bad thing is the price being they are not cheap.

I really enjoyed this cigar. Complex flavors of spice, coffee and earth were present. Creamy goodness the whole way through. This cigar is a little on the expensive side. so I’ll want for a Special sale before stocking my humidor with these. Overall, this cigar was a nice change of pace.

I love these little gems. Do not let their size fool you. While they are a petite corona, they leave one feeling that they have smoked a much larger cigar. They are loaded with flavor. I am often left with the feeling of euphoria. They smoke wonderfully and the taste is amazing.

I just enjoyed my first Coloniale from a year old box I received a couple of months ago. This is an amazing stick, even as young as it is. The appearance is wonderful; the wrapper almost looks like felt. The aroma of the wrapper is rich with cocoa and espresso and the cold draw is very similar with a little spice to it. After toasting the foot and lighting it there was a real explosion of flavors adding earth and some spice to the cocoa and espresso. Lots of velvety smoke that was just a joy to roll around in my mouth. This cigar burns super smooth and consistent from start to finish. It also encourages you to really take your time so the burn doesn’t get too hot and ruin the amazing combination of flavors… it was close to a 45 minute smoke. I really look forward to picking from this box as it continues to age because I know they’re going to get even better!
