Overview: San Cristobal La Punta
The San Cristobal La Punta is a Campana vitola, measuring 140 mm in length with a 52 ring gauge. They are beautifully presented in boxes of 25 cigars.
The La Punta is from the original line of 4 cigars from this brand, being named after the fortress used to defend Havana during Spain’s rule of the country in the 16th to 18th centuries.
This cigar opens with delicious aromas of leather and a touch of baking spices, once lit we found soft flavours of almond and fresh bread in the first third. As the cigar progressed into the second third we enjoyed a rich creaminess that mingled with notes of cedar, chocolate and stone fruit. The body of this cigar is medium full with a medium strength flavour profile.
There is a delicious complexity to this cigar and makes for an excellent post dinner smoke. Try pairing it with a barrel aged scotch for a premium experience. Expect to enjoy these for around 75 minutes.

Well this is one of those classic old Cubans. lucky me this box was made about a year ago. I smoked one stick before it went into my humidor and it has a very good taste (leather with a hint of chocolate) should be perfect in another 6-12 months. Cigar itself drew very well, the smoke was a nice thick white. The wrapper was a little veiny for a cuban so i rated the appearance a low 6. outside of that its a very good cigar after a steak or watching a sports game. THE SMELL – TASTE is great!

Full, powerful, sweet, tasty new Cuban figurado that is beautifully produced. Should age well.

friend bought a box, aged it for a month in humidor, came out very nice, dark, oily, good ole cuban flavlor, with hints of cocoa, very good cigar!, except a tad on the expensive side, but its worth a try if given the chance.

I’ve smoked Cubans cigar a long time, including almost all the highest rated ones like the Cohiba Behike 52 & 54 (great cigars but way over priced). I ordered these because my usual cigar was out of stock at the time. I received the order let them sit the the humi for 2 weeks then fired 1 up and it is almost prefect. Very good draw full of flavor like a good bordeaux. Leather, mocha, spicy and fruity, amazing. This cigar is now in my top 2. It’s that damn good. My golf buddies beg me to bring them to the course. Only once did that happen they smoked 10 of them. I told them goths Cubalous and buy your own. You folks won’t be disappointed.

Little tight on the draw and too mild for my taste.
