Overview: Saint Luis Rey Regios
The Saint Luis Rey Regios is a Hermoso No 4 vitola, measuring 127mm in length with a 48 ring gauge. They are available in strikingly decorated boxes of 25.
They are filled with the finest long filler tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region of cuba, and expertly handcrafted, finished with a perfect triple cap.
The Regios starts with a powerful aroma of coffee mixed with cedar, while the cold draw offers notes of coffee and rich toasted tobacco.
Once lit the draw is razor sharp, producing thick clouds of creamy smoke. We found there are full earthy flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg with a dash of spiciness that mingles with dark fruit flavours of plum and cherry.
In the second half we detected new flavours to this subtle complex profile, where cream and white pepper blended with the delicious bouquet that had already developed.

Tambien es la primera vez que lo pruebo,y en este caso no me ha gustado mucho.
La apariencia del puro es buena , aunque para mi gusto esta excesivamente apretado ,lo que dificulta en exceso la fumada y te obliga a estar pendiente de el durante la duracion de la misma.Un puro discreto.

Started out Great. Actually started off very very smooth and honeyed. Ended Great, but not as sweet. Not bitter,not too sweet, some chocolate flavour, not too spicey,smooth but not creamy,great smoke smell,even burn and perfect draw.About a 60 min smoke. Not overpowering at all. It is a definite must have in my humidor. Need to get some.

This smoke that I smoked was just not that exciting. To me kind of bland and mild. Maybe for a newbe this would be a better choice. this one just isnt as good as some of the other greats that are out there.

Perfect smoke for anyone, especially after a nice meal. SLR is an all time classic in any format but the Regios is one of the best! Creamy with hints of chocolate and coffee. If your a novice SLR is a must try, and if your not then you know what I’m talking about!
