Overview: Romeo y Julieta Cazadores

The Romeo y Julieta Cazadores is named for its vitola, measuring 162mm in length with a 44 ring gauge.

The Cazadores is a powerhouse of a cigar, being widely considered one of the strongest smokes on the market today, while still offering a velvety smooth profile. These cigars are tripa larga, totalmente a mano – long filler, totally handmade using an exclusive blend of tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba.

The aromas off the top were cedar and cocoa, the burn on these sticks is elite from the moment they are lit, the draw is razor sharp offering a deliciously rich and flavourful smoke that is full of delicious flavours notes of coffee, leather and raisin. In the second third new flavours of cashew, plum and a slay sweetness join the rustic bouquet.

These are recommended for our aficionados or intermediate smokers looking to test the deeper waters of the cuban cigar world. Due to their full body and strength and generous size, we highly recommend these for an after dinner cigar as you can expect to enjoy them for around 2 hours.

Pair them with a full bodied merlot or a barrel aged whisky 10+ years old to achieve an old world smoking experience.

Aging is required to allow the exquisite profile of this cigar to fully develop, we recommend an absolute minimum of 2-3 years, while 4-5 years in the humidor would be ideal for maximum development.

***Upon opening the box you will find yourself starring at the striking aluminum package, wrapped around 25 Cazadores. The bundle is bound near the head and foot by two silk ribbons. These cigars are very rustic in appearance. The wrapper is dark, shiny, and some have strong veins.
***From the first draw to last, your pallet will be drenched by the strong spicy flavors this cigar is known for. This is not a complex cigar. The flavor softens very slightly while smoking. The spiciness, albeit unchanging, is enjoyable if you like full flavor cigars.
***The Cazadores is good companion on a cool night. Pairs well with a nice Tawny Porto.
*** WARNING: NOT for the uninitiated. ***

just finished off a box of 08’s and I gotta say the flavors are like chewing on a belt with black pepper on it in a good way. And there is no better cigar to go shooting with. When out tromping through the woods it mixes with the leaves and the smell of ejecting cartridges just wonderfully. A full flavored full bodied old school cigar for sure and if it goes out on you it tasted pretty good just chewing on it too.
