Overview: Punch Short de Punch

Short de Punch is a Petit Robusto, boasting a 50 ring gauge and measuring 121mm in length.
This is the most recent edition to the Punch brand, debuting at the 2019 habanos festival, and marking itself as the first Robusto within the brands portfolio. They are available in boxes of 10.

The Short de Punch is wrapped in a smooth Colorado leaf, you can see and feel that the construction on these cigars is excellent. This cigar happily lives up to the hype, with a delicious bouquet of flavours that is reminiscent of a freshly baked cookie.

The cold draw offered a warm cedar note, once lit we found flavours of cedar and hazelnuts at the top with notes of sweet honey and of baking spice in the background. A delicious note of shortbread and a touch more spice coming in around the halfway mark.

The body and flavours reach a medium strength and hold steady there until the finish, which you can expect to land around 90 minutes of smoking time.

Given the youth of this cigar, there is great aging potential for these, 2-3 years would do them great.
