The Partagas Petit Coronas Especiales cigar is an Eminentes vitola, measuring 132mm in length with a 44 ring gauge.
These sticks are excellent for dipping your toes into the world of Partagas without a big commitment in price, but not for beginners into the world of Cubans. This stick is full power and will need some experience to wrangle it.
The Petit Coronas Especiales has classic Cuban flavours of spice and pepper at the start, while it mellows out in the second third with flavours of toast, cream, cinnamon and a dash of cloves joining the mix. The strength is a medium full, with a classic old world Partagas profile, you can expect to enjoy this smoke for around 60 minutes.
These cigars were once machine made, but have become hand rolled in recent years. They are filled with a classic long filler tobacco, making them an excellent quality to price ratio.
We recommend aging this smoke for 4-5 years, given the intense strength it would respond well to resting in your humidor so the flavours can melt together and round themselves out.

I am very impressed with the strong flavor of this smoke. Just tried it on a lark ( am a big fan of monte #4 and wanted to try something else) i like the upman, but this one is a step above in full bodied flavor and kick! love em

Looking for a smoke that is smaller in size than a robusto, thought I would give this one a try as I love the Partagas line. No disappointment here on this one, typical great appearance and construction of a Partagas, flavor tended to be nice until the final 3rd and then gets a little bitter for me, this after smoking about 6 of them and experiencing the same each time. Great value, especially because I bought the two box deal, will be a nice daily smoke for me, takes a little less time to smoke than the robusto – also a good thing. Recommend these highly, great smoke for the price. Thanks Cuban Lou’s, another great stick and great flawless shipment.

Took advantage of the 2 box deal, less than $4 a stick, can’t go wrong, well I should’ve bought the 3 box deal because they are fantastic, box arrived in good order, thank you Cuban Lous, opening the lid fills the room with a deep rich sweet tobacco and dark chocolate aroma, Hot Damn! must try one now, starts harsh and dry, 30 seconds later it mellows out, puff lightly for flavors of sweet ceder, coffee and cinamon, puff harder and leather, earth and spice come alive, but the best flavor of all is always present; tobacco. That’s right a full flavored powerhouse, yet not very bittter, how is this possible? A box only a few months old (may 2013) tastes like it’s been aged for years, I’m no longer paying big money for Cohibas that are only good for the second half, or Montecristos requiring half a decade of aging, I have a new favorite cuban, Partagas, enough said.

For less than $100 per box you will get a authentic Partagas taste; full in body, good construction with plentiful smoke volume.
Lot better than some other "cheepies", like JLP or QH!
Plus I can see tremendous aging potential; I shall stock up on these and put in humidor for couple years.
