The Hoyo De Monterrey Du Maire is an Entreactos Vitola, measuring 100mm in length by a 30 ring gauge, making it the most petit selection from the Le Hoyo series.
Hoyo De Monterrey uses the finest Seco and Ligero leaves in their blend for the Le Hoyo series, which are some of the most sought after in Cuba, grown in San Juan Y Martínez in the Vuelta Abajo zone. This Cigar is handmade.
The Du Maire began with a floral pre light aroma, with a medium bodied smoke with a quick combustion, be mindful to puff slowly. We found flavours of cream and wood at the top, with a bit of spice and vanilla coming in halfway.
Its small size and delicate flavours make it an excellent cigar for beginners or anyone looking for an excellent coffee break sized cigar, you can expect to enjoy this one for around 30 minutes.
The box of 25 cigars are beautifully presented, bundled and banded with a gold silk ribbon imprinted with the Hoyo de Monterrey name.

Bought these little smokes to bring on an Xmas trip.. have a family member who wants to try Cubans but likes smaller cigars/cigarillos. I couldn’t wait any longer and tried one tonight after only a week and half in the humidor… All I can say is thank goodness for them- I just tried one of these little beauties and am very pleased.
