Despite the name, this 6 x 48 Double Corona is relatively streamlined by modern standards, offering a longer, narrower expression of the Classic blend. This longer, moderately narrow format provides a measured burn and keeps wrapper influence more prominent than in a large-ring cigar. That makes the format an important part of the experience rather than simply a different measurement of the same cigar.

Underneath the size, the recipe remains Sumatra wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Cuban-seed long-fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The original red-label 5 Vegas blend is closely associated with Nestor Plasencia’s production and has long been one of the best-known cigars in the portfolio.
