Overview: Montecristo No.4
The Montecristo No.4 is a Mareva vitola, measuring in at 129mm in length with a 42 ring gauge.
The numbered series is the founding line of cigars that launched the montecristo brand in 1935. They are hand rolled and filled with the finest tobacco leaves from the Piñar del Rio region of Cuba. This range is aged for two years before being released, making them an excellent smoke right out of the box.
The No. 4 offers a similar profile to the No. 1 and No 3, offering prominent flavours of creamy coffee, cocoa and sweet vanilla. Medium strength profile is consistent throughout this smoke, with additional flavours of light cedar and an earthy spice that carries you through to the finish.
Given the moderate size of this cigar, you can expect to enjoy it for around 30 minutes, perfect for a morning pick me up or a stroll with your four legged friend. The size of this cigar also creates a possibility for it to burn hot, so do your best to slowly work your way through this one.
The simple yet rich profile is approachable for the novice smoker and aficionados alike, similar to its siblings in this range it pairs well with any beverage so pour your favourite and enjoy this brief smoking experience.
