I really like the shorter size smokes. This had a golden brown wrapper with a nice oily sheen. The draw was perfect. A slight musty taste with aditional flavors of cocoa, leather, and a hint of spice on the back of the throat. Good medium strength with a deliciously long finish. This was a fantastic little smoke with a perfect burn and tons of smoke. I thoroughly enjoyed it down to the nub and wanted more.
This is one cigar you just cant stop at one. You need to buy many boxes because somehow they all go very quickly. I don't know how they pack all this flavor in such a small package. You will get leather cedar and coffee flavor. This is almost as good as the RAG
This SCC looks very well made, even though the wrapper is a bit rough. It draws well, and burns well. It loads the palate with a medium to full bodied smoke, full of woody flavors at first, then turning to smooth cuban coffeee. Very rich, complex, and perfect for short smokes.
Good looking little cigars, 1/2 rolled way to tight 1/2 ok.
Kinda harsh at start but ok thru out.
Would not buy again
Well made medium to full bodied cigar with a great aroma. My only complaint is that I could not afford a bigger size.
A special format for a special market. It is hard to believe that someone might want a shorter Montecristo No 4, but it is so. It is one of those whims that Ramon Allones has tried to satisfy. Its major advantage is that good quality leaves or half-leaves, unsuitable for larger formats, can be selected. A very well manufactured curio.
