Overview: Montecristo Linea 1935 Dumas

The Montecristo Linea 1935 line is a recent addition to the brands portfolio being released in 2017. They contain an original blend of tobacco from the Pinar del Río region to create the strongest flavours with the most intensity within the Montecristo line. 

The Dumas is a Prominente Corto vitola, with a 49 ring gauge and 130mm in length, which is comparable to a Short Robusto. The cigars in the Linea 1935 line distinguish themselves from the rest of the brands offerings with a secondary band that carries their individual vitola names. 

The construction is elite as they are tripa larga, totalmente a mano – long filler, totally handmade, which creates a razor sharp draw that offers an abundance of rich creamy smoke.  

Pre light we found aromas of earth and cedar wood, while the opening gave off vegetal notes at first that quickly transitioned into a delicious mix of coffee, caramel and touches of vanilla and leather.
