Rey Del Mundo Demi Tasse

Overview: Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse

The El Rey Del Mundo Demi Tasse is petite in size but full of substance, measuring 100mm in length with a 30 ring gauge this Entreacto vitola is a delightful smoke.

The flavours start out mild but pick up quickly, we found notes of citrus and floral at the top which stayed consistent, with honey and nut flavours introducing themselves in the middle until the finish. The body and strength never passed the medium mark but flavours were distinct and easily detectable which is unique for a cigar of this size.

The complexity of this little powerhouse was a pleasant surprise, offering the substances of its larger siblings in a compact size. We enjoyed this smoke for about 30 minutes, making it excellent for an aperitif or intermission treat that would make a lovely accompaniment to a glass of champagne.

The moderate size and delicious flavours of the Mundo Demi Tasse would make this an excellent smoke for beginners but all levels of smokers are likely to enjoy it, just make sure you smoke it slowly to allow the full flavours to unfold.

This has to be one of the tastiest little cigars out there. It’s small, but don’t let the size fool you, there’s big taste in this little package! Construction is excellent (I have yet to get a dud out of several boxes). Full of spicey nutty flavor & they do go very nicely with that morning cup of joe. Great when time dosen’t permit smoking something in a larger range. I’m sure they will age excellent, but when I get a box or two they usually don’t stay in the humidor long enough for me to find out!

Stronger than you might expect from the size, but good. The draw is rather tight which is why I rated lower. If you’re looking for a mild smoke of this size, I would recommend the RJ Petit Julieta.

These are great young and then get mellow with age. I score these 92 right out of the gate with a potential of 96.

This cigar drew easily and gave off nice amounts of smoke. It tasted of leather, cedar, and hints of cream. I think I smelled some toast in the smoke. This is a lovely cigar. I hope I can age some of my own to get the same taste.
