Difficult to find and only available in cabinets of 50, the Saint Luis Rey Double Corona is possibly one of the top 3 prominentes produced. A medium-full bodied smoke that tends to change flavor throughout the smoke. Starting light, the cigar develops more full earthy floral flavors a third in and has a long almost sweet finish.

Review notes: double coronas simply looks great, need to set aside couple hours to slowly enjoy this beast. medium bodied, consistent draw, but flavor was quit weak in the first third, started to pick up afterwards, however felt flavor was still on the weaker side rest of the way. may need time to age for flavors to set in, which is exactly what i'll be doing, will check back on the SLR in a while

Review notes: I am not a SLR lover but this one is something else. It has so much to offer and it changes throughout the smoke. It offers a nutmeg flavor that is very unique with lots of herbal grassy flavors throught
