Review notes: I am smoking one of these as I write this review. I am a 4-5 cigars a day guy. I dont normally buy cigars I am not familiar with. I did get this cigar and must say: Impressed I am, smokes well, tasty and burns great. Aroma is a must with cigars and this cigar's smoke smells wonderful. Ill buy a box this time around, great smoke for a newbe or pro. A cigar that can be enjoyed with breakfast, or late evening. |

Review notes: Smoked a R&J Short Churchill last night. Great cigar already, earthy, nutty and a touch of cocoa. Beautiful construction and perfect draw. Great cigar in my opinion! |

Review notes: Everyone is telling you that their cigars are as good or even better than cubans.
To prove the point I smoked a dominican R&J Habana Reserve robusto. The cigars is well made, heavy in hand with a vain free beautiful wrapper. It provided good 45 minutes of plentifull smoke, good burn and nice firm silvery ash. But, the smoke was flat, uninspired and lacking complexity (despite having probably five different leaves in its filler) and what it was lacking was the aroma you experience with the cuban version.
Then I smoked the cuban version.
What a difference! Full of aroma and taste. Its construction may not be as perfect as the dominican, the wrapper had some veins, but it smoked beautifully.
So, the bottom line is that the taste of cuban tobacco cannot be duplicated, as it is given by what french winemakers call "terroir" - a combination of climate and soil. |

Review notes: What's not to love about these? Creamy goodness from the start that remains through the whole smoking experience. This has become my favorite cigar. I'm down to 2, looks like it's time to pick up some more from Cuban Lous. |

Review notes: The longer they stay in the humidor the better they get. I love a full body cigar and this cigar fulfills every expectation I have. Aroma, flavor, appreance and burn. I smoked this cigar in the morning with a rich cup of coffee or in the evening with a sniffter of cognac. What a joy to have. |

Review notes: If this were a girl and I were single........ man, great smoke right out of the box! Construction was perfect and the ash held strong, even in a bit of a breeze! Starts out very nicely and builds to the perfect blend of tastes. Makes me wonder what the full Churchill can do! I will eventually have to try the full version! Wonderful draw and tons of smoke. The wrapper is a delight, hues of brown and red and just enough oil. Silken to the touch. The triple cap was perfect. I could do without two rings, just more of a chance to damage the wrapper when I have to take them off so I can smoke it down to a nub! Hey, where's my surgical clamp!! |
