Review notes: I have to say that I was baffled with this box of cigars. What is usually known for being an extremely well made, reasonable priced, mild cigar, out of the Romeo Y Julieta factory, proved me wrong in a big way! I must have accidentally purchased a vintage box. The cigars were very dark in color, full bodied and the draw was tight if not completely plugged. I would have done much better purchasing a non-vintage box. My experience with Rafael Gonzalez is that they don't age well.
In any event, this is the first box I have had any problems with from Cuban Lou's. It was my mistake to purchase a box of Rafael Gonzalez aged over a year. The non-vintage box my younger brother purchased were great! A great milled early day or morning smoke. |
