Review notes: This was a very good smoke, with complex, changing flavors. I could smell cedar, licorice, plum hay and white pepper before I lit the cigar, I noticed a prominent swirl of darl ligero in the blend showing at the foot, so I knew this would have lot of flavor. There were two prominent veins in the wrapper, and the cigar was slightly spongy, but still well made. The strenght when I lit the cigar was medium-full, but quickly became full after a short 3/4" of smoking. I was able to pick out flavors of white pepper, fruit (plum), leather, black pepper, cedar and oak at various times during the smoke. At two years old, I am sure they will mellow a little more, but I would consider these to be in prime smoking condition over the next two years. |
