Review notes: Bought a 3 pak along with 53 other cigars just before Christmas '08. I've always wanted to try the Petite Edmundo's but just never got around to it. I used to smoke the Hoyo Petite Robusto's then turned a friend on to them and he's been smoking them ever since. Until now maybe. I didn't have these 3 Petite Edmundo's more than a couple of weeks when my friend came up and I thought I'd try a couple. He's never tried them either. These were excellent smokes. The tubes caught both our eyes and my friend said, "wow, wonder what these tubes cost to produce, look nice!" The fat little Edmundo's inside were even more impressive. Looked great, felt great, smelled great... then we lit them up, they were better than we could have expected. Medium smokes. Burnt nearly perfect all the way to the itty bitty barely hold on to ends. We just couldn't get enough. These Petites Edmundos are an excellent smoke I'm tellin' ya. You cannot go wrong. I wish I would have had the $$ to order a whole box... next time I will. If these Monte's are consistent from batch to batch I'm going to switch to these for my regular Cuban smokes. Yes sir indeed. The only reason I didn't give them a 10 is I've never had a 10 because I know somewhere out there, there is a better cigar. That will be my No. #10. Hopefully I'll smoke it sooner than later! Now, go do what is smart and order a full box of these from Cuban Lou's! |
