Review notes: I was looking forward to this smoke, and most certainly was not let down. It is everything it is supposed to be. Great Cuban smoke. The wrapper was not the best looking but was nice and smooth to the touch, a gorgeous medium brown color. opens up with a cold flavor of graham cracker/tobacco. Lit up the opening is of sweet cedar and spice. The cedar remains throughout the smoke. 1st 1/3 is excellent, cedar spice and tobacco notes. 2nd 1/3 is more of the cedar, spice is in the background and a bit of mocha comes in. final 1/3 the cedar continues, spice is more prominent, and fine notes of tobacco and coffee with some floral notes in there as well. The smoke is great, nice volume, not too much, and the draw was perfect. I used a punch cut and was most pleased with the results. I would recommend this stick to any Habano fan or seasoned smoker who has not enjoyed a Habano and is looking for a rich stick with cedar and spice. This was enjoyed three weeks after arrival at around 60-65% RH. I am looking forward to more. |
