Well-made and also very good in the draw, this cigar carries rich, earthy aromas with rougher undertones; spicy, rustic, full taste with notes of tender sharpness; a mouth full of Cuban aromas and terroir-expression for little money; it is not a cajoling cigar but an indigenous, medium-strong Puro.

	Review notes: If you are looking for a true Cuban experience this one fills the bill. It is not complex, trendy, beautiful, or even made with long filler, but if solid Cuban flavor, a good draw and reasonable burn is what you're after, it can be found here. The tobacco in these sticks don't come from the very best valley in Cuba but it doesn't seem to matter much. The aroma is delightfully woody and the smoke is rich with great Cuban tobacco flavor. Up until 2003 these were machine made. Since then they are "Totalmente a mano". I believe that the average Cuban cigar smoker, blindfolded, would have a hard time telling the difference between this stick and a Monte 4.
