Review notes: I first tried La Flor De Cano's about 10 years ago. It's always been one of my favorites. This brand isn't as well known as the big named brands, but I think that's where the charm of the cigar comes into it.
This cigar is very smooth, almost mellow in flavor. I'm not the type to get into the nuanced flavors, but suffice it to say it is a very satisfying smoke. Now that I have found a source for this great cigar, I will definitely be keeping it in supply for my fellow cigar lovers (instead of hording them for myself!)
If you are looking for a good Cuban cigar at an incredible price, then look no further!
The last box of these cigars I got was nearly 10 years ago. While that box appeared to have some quality control issues (~5 of the cigars had problems with tight draw, poor construction, etc.), this new box seems to not have that concern.
While I've only smoked one of the 25 cigars in this new box, the draw was excellent, the burn was somewhat ragged, but the flavor was excellent throughout the entire length.
Overall, this has been a great experience (from ordering to smoking).
Definitely give this good cigar a shot, and at the price Cuban Lou's has them it's really a steal!
Thanks again CL! |
