Review notes: The oily, milk chocolate colored wrapper was more veiny than expected for a Habano. A rich, juicy aroma of leather, earth, and sweet wood was an alluring hint of promised pleasure to come. The spicy cinammon pre-draw hinted at intriguing complexity. Damn figurado - where to cut? Firm, GRASSY first draw was an element not previously revealed. Pepper quickly showed itself, sweet and spicy in the 1st 3rd. This baby displayed a sweet, spicy complexity as the burn evened out halfway thru. The leathery flavored wrapper asserted itself on the draw as the ever present musty earth background provided a stable framework to the the final 1/3. |
