Review notes: this has been my first experience with a TRUE cuban cigar. from my first draw i realized that all of the other cohibas that i've had from the island were counterfeits. these were the real deal!!!! from the siglo VIs even burn, fantastic taste and marvelous aroma, i knew that i made the right choice in cuban lou's. my cigars arrived very quickly, fresh and well packaged. i definitely recommend the siglo VI and cuban lou's for all of those who treasure a TRUE cuban cigar. thanks for a wonderful transaction! |

Review notes: This evening, 18 DEC 09 the first snow of the season arrived, beautiful, soft and immediately covered the ground. We celebrated the snowfall at dinner with me cooking two thick steaks from our organic farmer friend. Due to the snow I pan fried them and just as they were about done added a touch of butter and tobasco and topped them with freah lump crab. With them I served a baked potatoe lathered with butter, salt and pepper and steamed some broccoli with horseradish. I opened a bottle of cabernet and my wife and I enjoyed every bite. By dinner's end there was about 4 inches of snow on the ground and my wife heade up to bed and I got out a Cohiba Siglo VI she had given me as a birthday gift. I mixed some Remy Martin with a little ameretto in a snifter and walked in the snow to our garden Folly that is filled with orange, lemon, and lime plants and sat in the quiet looking out across our 'Italian' garden. I always look forward to smaoking a Cuban cigar and honestly have never had a bad one. Some are good only about halfway and the really good ones I smoke close to the end. The Cohiba VI felt smooth and luxusious in my hand. The size is perfect. I took a moment to smell the raw tobacco and then cut, and fired it up. I was immediately captivated with the aroma of vanilla, nutmeg and a hint of sandlewood. From the first puff I was intoxicated with the sensitive blend of flavors that paired so well with my snifter of ameretto and cognac. I sat watching the sparkle of snow in our garden, enjoying the sophisticated flavor and aroma of the Cohiba for a little over an hour. Others have regalled the Cohiba, but now I'm a cheerleader. Is it expensive? Yes! Is it worth it? Yes. I smoked mine to within an inch of the end. I kept moving the band closer to the end so I wouldn't burn it. What can I say? These are really great cigars. If you haven't had one yet it's time. They don't get any better. I love aging my cigars. The one tonight was only a few weeks out of the box. I can't imagine how good they will get in a few months. |

Review notes: got a box of 10. light wrapper and very mild. had the cuban aroma but was very mild and was like smoking a davidoff. cohiba never lives up to the hype- at least with me. |

Review notes: I just finshed my first one of these tonight and was expecting a lot. It started out very slow for the first inch or so. It had a bitter blah taste until I hit the 1 inch mark. I opened up from there and was a great cigar. I think they need 3-4 years more and they should be great. |

Review notes: We guys dream of finding Miss Right. If she were a cigar, I think she'd be the Siglo VI. Everything about this stick conveys the essence of the Cuban cigar experience. From the feel of the cigar between your fingers and in your mouth to the pleasure it gives on the tongue, the rich flavors of wood and spice combine with a quintessential Cohiba creaminess to make you sit back in your chair and wonder if its possible to fall in love with a cigar. As for me, I think so. |

Review notes: Wow! An incredible smoke. Very even burn, and an excellent draw. A classic Cohiba. Great flavors of cedar, spice and dark roasted coffee. This cigar will age long and well. I'm buying more! |
