Review notes: good looking churchill, color on the lighter side compared to other darker oilier churchills. personally felt was medium flavored, good overall general smoke, but would prefer Romeo churchills. will keep a few in the humidor for a while to see if aging improves the flavor. |

Review notes: like the the partagas luistianas this is a succulent and juicy julieta. you need to work it a little to get the right draw but after that its just a choco cuban combo all the way through! |

Review notes: A magnificent cigar. The construction was solid. Perfectly oily chocolate brown wrapper was slightly coarse.
The pre-light draw was spot-on. Good tobacco taste. Post-light revealed rich, sweet coffee, chocolate, caramel, and notes of earth. As the smoke continued I picked up hints of licorice and a roasted nut with the perfect amount of pepper.
The burn was perfect and produced tons of smoke. A magnificent medium strength, smooth and creamy smoke. Absolutely delicious finish. |

Review notes: This is the flagship of the marca. Classic bolivar marca flavors of nut, earth, and hay. But the delivery is with great finesse. These last forever. I've had CGs with more than a decade of age and they still need time to develop. |

Review notes: Love the Finos, but wanted to try the larger cigar. The taste of this cigar is superior to most all other cigars. Good draw, and, heck, they're already aged! Must-buy for any cigar lover! Don't let the strength keep you away. |

Review notes: I am a big fan of this cigar and when I found an opportunity to buy some 10 year olds I was delighted. After smoking a couple of these cigars I came to the conclussion that they were either past there prime or the roller that had made them rolled them a bit too tightly. While the Bolivar strength was there I found them much harder to draw on then the 2 and 3 year olds I was use to smoking. For this reason I had to rate them lower than my previous review. Hopeful the remaining 23 in this box will be easier to draw upon, other wise I have spent extra $ for nothing. |

Review notes: These are beautiful when they are rolled properly. Unfortunately, I have had 7 plugged cigars in my box. I tried to sort out these cigars but in most cases ended uo having to discard them and light up something else. Superb though, when you get a good one. |

Review notes: In my opinion the Bolivar Churchill is a hidden jem in the Cuban cigar world. Tourists flock to Cuba and want to purchase the big name Churchill's, Cohiba Espendidos, H. Upmann Sir Winston Churchill and the Romeo y Julieta Churchill but many overlook the Bolivar Coronas Gigantes which dollar for dollar (or peso for peso while in Cuba) just may be the best deal of all when it comes to the Churchill class. This cigar is not for the novice smoker as it is medium to strong but it is a smooth smoke with less of a bite than say the Cohiba or Upmann brands. It has a flavour with hints of coffee and roasted nuts. It is also the type of smoke which tastes excellent all the way to the nub. While I would probably have to say I favour the H. Upmanns Winston Churchill, the Bolivar is probably one of the best priced and under rated cigars in this size category. |
