Review notes: Gorgeous smelling box of 25 dated Feb 2008. Each cigar constructed with perfection and aged well before purchase. These cigars are slightly shorter than the regular piramides like Monte Cristo No. 2. This has got to be one of the most finest cigars I have smoked. Perfect burn, perfect draw with a woody taste. The oily wrapper burns well and does not need to be re-lit. The smell of the smoke is mouth watering. The first 2/3 of the cigar for me is the best part. The last 1/3 changes in taste and becomes more "grassy". Overall a fantastic cigar. I will surely be buying more of these soon. |

Review notes: My 1st time trying this cuban legend and it was one of the strongest cigars I have ever smoked. These are of above average in appearance and had a few very very minor tears on 3 of the 25 wrapper leaves. I have only smoked one of the box and it was a bit harsh for my liking, so i would venture to say a good aging period should smooth these right out. I'll write another review in 6 months after some intense aging in my spanish cedar XL Armoire humidor. |

Review notes: STARTS VERY MILD WITH FRUITY AND WOODY FLAVOURS. AT HALF WAY THE CIGAR GOES FROM MILD TO FULL THERE IS NO MEDIUM TO FULL AND ADDS A NICE SPICE FLAVOUR TO IT. OVERALL THE CIGAR IS QUITE SMOOTH FROM START TO FINISH NO HARSNESS AT ALL. THE AGE ON THESE CIGARS WERE AROUND 1 YEAR AND 6 MONTHS. |

Review notes: Great rich, full taste of leather, medium-dark cocoa, and wood. It did not show a lot of spice until the last 3rd, I would say a solid medium body with a complex and full flavor. Dense but with a full draw. Burn was razor sharp. The only problem is I only have 3 of these left from this box. |

Review notes: I just got these which were included in a sampler. I have only smoked one of them, but I found the initial light up and draw difficult. Burned unevenly, extremely harsh at first. It really didnt open up and smoke well until midway through. The end went from pleasant to almost acidic to me. Just my opinion, again only smoked one of the several I have. I ll give them another chance and get back for another review. |

Review notes: The wrapper was a pale brown and quite coarse with no noticeable oils. I found the pre-light draw to be a little on the tight side, however air flowed well enough.
The cigar lit well and although the draw was tight, it smoked fantastic. Flavors of honey, caramel, rich coffee with cream, and dark, ripe berry came through. There was only a slight bit of pepper spice, and the smoke was a good medium strength.
Pepper spice kicked up a notch at the halfway point, and flavors of honey, caramel, and berry taste continued. The finish was short with an incredibly delicious immediate aftertaste that kept me wanting more. I found hints of leather and cedar wood as well. |

Review notes: I just bought a parcel of 10 finos from cuban lou's about a month ago; very flavorful sticks from start to finish;half way thru I had an urge to give it a good bite; had to really back off a bit- flavors that came out were chocolate- cream -nuts-and honey;so basically just like a candy bar! I rate these 9.5 exellent ---------------THANK YOU CUBAN LOU'S-----------------ER |

Review notes: Dress box or Cabinet? Go with the cabinet, they exhibit a little more tannin derived from the cedar box. Campanas are my most favorite cigar when well aged, the draw, the impact of the large gauge just has no equal. The Finos I have are just beginning to show their true colors of cream, hay, and earth. |

Review notes: I smoked one just tonight and have to say this is very different thn the Royal Corona. ABout half way in this one had a kick and the taste really started to develop. Not sure if I care for this one as much as the RC or PC but would describe it as a tad harsh by the end. |

Review notes: Opening the box you will know instantly thsse are superior
cigars. Darkish oily wrapper- a nice barnyard aroma and
lighting up is heaven. The aroma is utopia. The flavor is
a spicy woody flavor that is unlike any other cigar. Slightly
tight draw and a few touchups but otherwise a perfect 10. |

Review notes: Was a little worried about trying one with less than a year on it, but I was glad I did. This is what a cigar is suppose to taste like. Hope to keep my hands off the rest for a couple years, yeah that will happen. With the sweet smell of a Barnyard, this cigar had a straight burn with a dark ash that held on for a few inches. Smoke had a slight bluish tint and the taste of thick coffee and tobacco flavors. Not a lot of changing flavors, but with every puff, the flavors got stronger. Great Cigar, Thanks Kevin. |

Review notes: After reading the review of this cigar in Cigar Afficionado, I decided to buy a box. Glad I did. I agree 100% with the review in the magazine, which I quote: "Nearly perfect in appearance, this cigar shows a core of coffee flavors that warm to walnut and leatherintonations. All of the flavors culminate on the long finish with a predominance of coffee throughout."
Could not have reviewed it better myself. No wonder it got a 92 rating. A very fine smoke and well worth the money. |

Review notes: A new favorite, and the price is right! My old mainstay was Cohiba Robustos--I like that full-flavored, Cuban taste, but my last box was inconsistent (8 were rolled too tight). Cohibas' price keeps climbing and their reviews continue to fall. So, I'm VERY happy with these. They burn slightly unevenly, the ash isn't as tight, and the band is a little low, but they're AWESOME FLAVORED cigars (full flavor with balance and nice finish). I can't wait for them to mature. I'm ordering more, and would recommend the Bolivar Belicosos Finos to anyone. |

Review notes: The perfect golf cigar. It's the right size for 2 to 3 holes of pleasure with a firm enough construction to withstand the between shots abuse. The flavor is full and seems to maintain that profile throughout the smoke, never building towards bitterness as you near the end. The mildly rectagular shape isn't the most exciting but once you light up, all is forgotten. A great travel cigar. |

Review notes: Down to my last stick, which has about 2 years of rest on it. I love the spongy Bolivars. I probably won't purchase another box of these as I narrow my selection down to two kinds of Cuban cigars. Two years isn't enough time in my opinion. The time has done wonders for the cigar, but it still is not quite balanced enough for me. I haven't experienced any sweet or chocolate flavor notes. This is bold in flavor - woody, dark soil, and spice. It is not bitter or harsh by any means, but neither is it creamy and smooth. If you want that, Bolivars may not be what you're looking for. Overall, this is a good smoke. |

Review notes: This is an incredibly smooth cigar. I couldn't make out what flavours were involved in the blend but couldn't help but admire how smooth it was with good smoke and a comfortable draw. I didn't find it to be any stronger than the Bolivar Royal Corona but unlike the Boli RC this vitola left my mouth feeling creamy/pasty. The finish was nice and long and I could feel its creamy texture in my mouth for hours later. Definitely a must try. |

Review notes: Hi. have recently developed a soft spot for these.
Strong Bolivar flavours are abundant, thick, lucious smoke with an even burn .... u can see the oils almost protecting the large, growing cylinder of ash!
i can only describe it like this ..... if all Cubans are described as paints, then this Bolivar is definately the emulsion! thick, pasty and coats your mouth so you can taste it for hours after!
Everytime, i sit in front of my humi deciding what to pick for the evening, my eyes keep drifting over to my Boli Beli's ..... it leaves no doubt as to whether you will enjoy it ...... a must try (but not for the novice due to its strong finish)! |
