I received a box dated Feb. '07 in Feb. '08. Smoked my first stick within a month and my personal comments were "So, what's the big deal?" I left them sit in my humidor for 6 months and the second stick literally blew my mind as well as my ears off. I'm not astute as to detecting different flavors of a cigar as experts are but I can say that humidification (is that a word?) certainly helped this cigar.<ul></ul> I myself have had the pleasure of smoking a Monte #2 from Cuba.
