Review notes: I purchased these based on the initial 93 points Cigar Aficionado reviewer James Suckling gave them during a non-blind tasting at the Havana Cigar Festival. I then noticed on the CA site that they gave an "official" rating of 89, and so while that is still a good rating, I was not sure to expect.
I am pleased to inform all that the cigars I received from Cuban Lou's are beautiful in appearance, well constructed, and fragrant. I have only smoked one so far, and while it did not burn as evenly or consistently as I would have expected, the flavor was full and good. For the price I would prefer a Cohiba Siglo VI, but still a good smoke. |
